The Walking Dead: Michonne has you play as the title character in a side story that I initially thought took place before she met Rick, but it actually takes place in the comics timeline around issue 130 when she was absent for a while. Do not enable Telltale’s cloud sync. Telltale’s version of “storing your saved games in the cloud” is actually “deleting your local saved games.” Luckily, I was only partway through episode 1 (of 3) when I discovered this.
Poussey from OitNB voices Michonne, Billy Riggins is an antagonist, and they were joined by a few familiar Telltale voice actors.
It’s similar to the other Walking Dead games, interactive story with annoying QTEs. The decisions aren’t as tough here as they are in the other games, nothing I agonized over, so that’s a little disappointing. But it was a good enough story and I like Michonne, so not bad.
On to the last of these Shadowrun games next, Hong Kong.
