Tomorrowland has a lot of talent involved (Damon Lindelof, Brad Bird, and a good cast) but I heard it was kinda lousy, but it also sounded like it might be lousy in an interesting way, so I decided to check it out.
As in the trailer I remember, a girl finds a thing that when she touches it transports her to a magical amazing other-place. Unlike the trailer, it actually opens with little kid George Clooney doing basically the same. In both instances, they spend a lot of time showing sequences of how amazing things are there with jetpacks and robots and hover trains and that sort of thing. These are basically the highlights of the movie.
The story is underwhelming, and the movie is ultimately forgettable.
