Pointless Nonsense

Horrible Bosses has a solid premise, a reasonably funny premise, and a very talented cast. That’s really all you need to make a comedy work. It’s not great or anything, but it’s perfectly satisfying, and that’s largely due to the cast. Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell, and even Jennifer Aniston work great as the foils, Jamie Foxx is very good in a supporting role, and I think what sold me most was the main trio of actors. This movie easily could have featured Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, and Jonah Hill, because every R-rated comedy seems to draw from the same damn pool of actors. Nothing against them, but I’m pleased to see Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis (photoshopped to look like Josh Duhamel on the poster, for some reason), and Charlie Day get their share of the spotlight.
