Pointless Nonsense

Starz has put the first episode of their new series Camelot online. From watching it, I have been reminded of the following things: Eva Green is still pale and hot, Claire Forlani is apparently still alive*, Starz still really likes nudity (the episode is totally NSFW, if that wasn’t obvious), and I still don’t really care about adaptations of all the King Arthur and Merlin stuff. Note for Geebs: I got the impression that one character might be wanting to bang his half-sister.

* – Apparently she’s been in stuff (including CSI New York, and the appropriately titled Not Forgotten), but the last thing I was aware she was in was Antitrust in 2001. She’s not gross or anything, but she has aged 10 years, which is disappointing.

I think Starz did this to compete with HBO’s coming A Song of Ice and Fire / A Game of Thrones series. In A Game of Thrones, there is an incestuous pair of twins (male/female, not female/female)… And their incestuous relationship is a pretty major part of the story, so it can’t be brushed under the rug as an unnecessary detail.

Well… thanks for spoiling that for me, jackass.
