Pointless Nonsense

Let Me In is the Hollywood remake of Let The Right One In. I enjoyed the original a lot, and mostly watched this just to see how badly they screwed it up. As it turned out, they didn’t. It’s basically the same movie. Plot, mood, everything, just in English. Which makes me wonder why bother to even remake it at all, but I guess the answer is money. One difference (I think, since I haven’t watched the original a second time): 80s soundtrack. Nothing puts you in the mood for some horrific murders quite like The Greg Kihn Band.
