Patton Oswalt calls Texas Chainsaw Massacre the best movie title ever, and makes a compelling case for it. Along the same lines, I have to think that Warren Ellis’s upcoming Captain Swing and the Electrical Pirates of Cindery Island can make a case for the best comic title ever. Other contenders: The Amazing Screw-On Head or The Five Fists of Science.

Worst comic book title: Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying, which never made any sense to me.
